Coil Pottery | 1 Day Workshop
The Craft Barn, Hadfield
1st July 2017
DATES: Saturday 1st July
TIME: 9:30am-4:30pm (6hours +1hour for lunch)
A 1-day workshop for students to learn how to create a pot using the coil and pinch technique - one of the oldest forms of pottery making and still used throughout the world where access to tools is limited.
All the finished pots will be taken back to my studio to be glazed and fired and will be available for collection approximately 4 to 5 weeks later.
Plastic disposable aprons will be provided, however please feel free to bring your own apron - and wear suitable clothing (clay can be very messy!)
The workshop will start at 9:30am until 4:30pm with an hour for lunch. There will be places for up to 7 participants at £60 each which covers all materials and firing costs. Please be aware that full payment is required to guarantee your place on the course.
Light refreshments and snacks will be included, included, however, you will need to provide your own lunch (alternatively, there are also a couple of cafes nearby)
Book now to avoid disappointment:
